trial post number four [July 23 2008 4:09pm] lightened [paint_the_sky] For my final trial entry, I decided to feature one of my very favorite photographers, RJ Shaughnessy, including some of his beautiful work for Urban Outfitters. It's a small batch, but I worked very hard on each icon in order to fully express the talent of this amazing artist. (As well as make a great final impression on all of you.) Thank you so very much for giving me the opportunity to trial post here, alongside such talented makers. Regardless of if I gain a position here, I've learned a lot about graphics and will continue to create. (Please, please friend my graphic journal, flouncy if you'd like to stay updated on my work as I make it.) Also, thank you EVERYONE for your great feedback. I couldn't do it without you. [July 22 2008 6:35pm] cinnayum so hurricane dolly is heading straight for south texas, where i live. i'm really dreading it. everyone is preparing and everything and i hate this feeling of anxiousness and not knowing how serious it's going to be. i'm hoping it's just heavy rainfall and bad wind. the electricity will probably go out so i'll spend my time reading, writing letters, and watching movies on my macbook. i already have lots of letters to send out. two for meisha, two really really old ones for marla and vanessa i never sent out, one for brenna, one for monique, and one for sarah. i will be writing plenty more these next couple of days and will mail them out once this craziness is over. isaac is coming soon and i can't wait to see him! [July 22 2008 1:28pm] obsession_x Sorry for the lack of posts :( I've been spending my spare time in the hospital for the past few weeks. My lil sis Annie is in there, having her operation today to take out some growth in her spine. My phone died (it got wet when my bottle leaked in my bag !) And i went home sick yesterday because i had the runs, threw up, and got a mad fever. Life right now really sux. My mom woke me up three times during the night to give me panadol & check my temperature <3 I'm still updating my project 365 blog whenever i can. RIchards birthday yesterday, i drove him to work and packed a snack bag for him- i havent had time to do anything lately :( I most probably wont be posting for a while. say a mth or 2? until my sister comes back from from the hosp and things are getting better   So take care everyone *hugs GLANCE ( 7 ) BABBLE
